Adsense relevancy will easily increase your CTR, and can give you a huge boost in earnings. I’m relatively new to blogging, and
websites in general. I don’t know a lot of the fancy terms, and I don’t know all of the best SEO/money making strategies. However, I’ve been with Adsense for a few months now, and just learned a neat trick. You can tell Adsense which words to spider while it’s looking for words to use in the advertisements. I know, it’s a ballsy headline, but I’m tired of hearing all of the script kiddies on Digg scoff at Wordpress, blaming it for sites crashing

Wordpress needs a little tweaking, but for the most part, it’s the server configuration that is to blame. First though, it’s notable to point at the progress the entire WordPress community has made in the last year since 2.0 was released.
Many things, such as themes, have been improved upon. For instance, theme authors can take advantage (and now do!) of screenshot.png, a screenshot image that can be included in a theme folder that provides a visual representation of what the theme is. This ability was implemented in 2.0 but since most themes were designed for WordPress 1.5 at the time, most themes did not have this feature implemented.

One of the great things about WordPress is how easily you can have it up and running, completely customized to your liking, in such a
short period of time. After setting up WordPress for several of my friends, I found that having a ‘checklist’ makes things go even faster - so I decided to write it all up and share with you.

As a Webmaster, one of the things you always need to be aware of is how well your the pages of
your site are interlinked. This is a crucial factor in overall search engine performance, and simply assuming that your architecture is robust enough to handle this is definitely not the route you want to take.

Wordpress is one of the most popular, free solutions for managing your website’s content and I am a
devoted fanboy. However, whilst Wordpress in its default, out-of-the-box form can provide a good platform for your website, with a little tinkering you can increase the functionality of your site massively. And what’s the easiest way of tinkering? Plugins! Special files that you simply slot-in to your Wordpress installation to get new features. Here are 8 plugins that I consider absolutely invaluable… (more…)
