There have been a lot of talk lately about Google AdSense stopped been the true contender for income and while in many ways it’s true (I don’t use simply because affiliate links pay me more) it is still a valuable source of income for great many people. People who have no clue about other form of Internet Marketing or income and quite frankly - probably not even interested to get into all the complexity associated with it.

Microsoft is doing more than snapping up advertising companies and cementing ad partnerships. On the infrastructure side of its growing advertising business, It also is continuing to refine its platform and tools for its existing customer base.

To say that ads will bring in the money was easier than designing a cash flow model for the raw business.

Though the ensuing bust thankfully put an end to such websites, Internet businesses and online advertising have continued to evolve.
